Privacy Policy
This policy explains what personal data SunSkipper collects through sunskipper.com, why, and what you can do about it. Questions or requests: sales@sunskipper.com.
What we collect
When you place an order
Your name, email address, shipping address, and optionally a phone number, plus the products, amounts and currency of the order. We use this to process payment, ship your order, contact you about it, and keep the records the law requires.
When you pay
Payment is handled by Stripe. Your card details go directly to Stripe and are never seen or stored by us. Stripe processes payment data under its own privacy policy.
When you contact us
Your name, email address and message, used only to reply to you.
When you browse
Your cart and currency choice are stored in your own browser so they survive a page reload. We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand which pages are visited and how the shop is used (for example, which products are viewed and added to the cart). Google Analytics uses cookies and receives your IP address and device information.
Cookies and your choice
If we advertise, Google's tags may also measure whether an ad led to a visit or a purchase. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are asked first: until you accept, Google's tags run without cookies. You can change your choice at any time.
Who processes your data
- Supabase — hosts our database, where orders and order details are stored.
- Stripe — processes payments.
- Resend — sends order and contact emails.
- Google — Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager.
- Vercel — hosts the website.
- The postal or courier service that delivers your order receives your name, address and, if given, phone number.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers. We do not sell your personal data.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as accounting and tax law requires. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of Google Analytics.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to withdraw consent. Email sales@sunskipper.com and we will respond within the time the law allows. You can also complain to your local data-protection authority.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
